Choosing between them. Depth is the deciding factor, not the indication. A filler placed deeper than its density is built for will look flat; one placed shallower than its density allows will be visible. Where two products overlap — lips, for example, appear under both Light and Strong — the choice is between definition (Light) and volume (Strong).

Before you inject

A summary of the handling points that apply to all three densities. It does not replace the instructions for use supplied in the box, which are the authoritative document — read them before use.

Preparation

Disinfect the treatment area with alcohol or another antiseptic solution.
Expel the air from the syringe until a drop appears at the needle tip.
Do not use a needle that is not sterile, or that is bent, deformed or in damaged packaging.
The gel is colourless and transparent. If the contents look altered or contain particles, do not use it.

Technique

Insert the needle at roughly 30°, following the line of the fold or depression.
Choice of needle and injection method remain at the practitioner's discretion.
Do not mix with other preparations, and do not combine with other injectable products.

Do not use when

The skin shows redness, swelling or pigmentation changes.
There is inflammation, infection or fever.
The packaging is damaged, opened or has been stored incorrectly, or the expiry date has passed.

Incompatibility

Hyaluronic acid is recognised as incompatible with quaternary ammonium compounds such as benzalkonium chloride.
Avoid contact with these substances and with medical or surgical materials containing them.

Patients on anticoagulants

Patients taking medication that slows clotting may bruise or bleed more at the injection site.
Anticoagulant therapy should be stopped, in agreement with the treating physician, at least 14 days before injection.

Storage & traceability

Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, within the temperature range on the label.
Single use. Do not re-use and do not re-sterilise.
Keep out of reach of children.
Apply one traceability label to the patient file and give the other to the patient.
